Hi there everyone! With the start of 2020, we are here with our first real estate market update for Milton. Things for sure picked up from where they had left off at the end of 2019 in terms of prices. You can see that in the average sale price coming in 4% higher than the numbers we had seen back last year in January. This scarcity of listings is what is driving this current market, and you can see that in a huge drop of 37% from the numbers seen back in 2019 January. At the same time, the number of sales, given the time of the year, not surprisingly came in 12% lower than last year. We ended the month with total of 98 active listings, giving us one month’s of inventory, and 72% sold to new listing ratio definitely puts us in sellers market conditions. We for sure are back in the times that we had seen back in 2017 and in some instances, even higher.
